In order to protect your privacy in using various e-commerce-related services (hereinafter referred to as the Service), as well as to uphold our commitment to protecting and respecting your privacy, iDrip Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as iDrip) will comply with personal privacy protection and personal data protection-related regulations. iDrip’s Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) will help you understand how iDrip collects, processes, uses and protects personal data within the Service, as well as the subjects we share such personal data with. Please read the following carefully:

Collection and use of personal data

According to Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act, the following matters must be informed to the customers before iDrip may collect, process, and use your personal data. Please read:

  • Applicable scope

    When you use the Service or apply, register, login as a member, check, search, browse, personal account information, order products or services, use products or services, acquire products or services and other related shopping information, participate in online activities hosted by the Service, participate in advertising, marketing, or product promotion activities hosted by the Service, questionnaire surveys or giveaway activities, or participate in satisfaction surveys, obtain feedbacks, when we respond to your questions or information search requests, when providing and improving the Service or customer services such as user experience survey and analysis, besides informing the customers of the data collected, processed, and used by the Service, as well as referring to the Service’s terms of service, iDrip will collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with the following regulations. Such information is usually not recognized as direct or indirect personal information, but if such information can be directly or indirectly identified as personal data, iDrip will inform the users of the collection, processing, and use of personal data according to the regulations of this article.

    Within the aforementioned applicable scope, iDrip may inform our third-party partners of the personal data you have provided, and iDrip will make sure that they will comply with the Policy. Apart from complying with the law or the demand of the competent authority or judicial organizations, or requests to uphold the law, or as defense and the prevention of unlawful conducts such as fraud, iDrip will never use or forward your personal data to a third party beyond the applicable scope. At the same time, iDrip will not sell or market your personal data to third parties.

    The app service provided by the service website may contain links to other websites or web pages or services rendered by other parties. For such links or services that do not belong to iDrip, please beware that iDrip will be be held accountable for their conducts on the collection of personal data or their privacy policy.

  • Purpose of collection

    The collection, processing, and use of personal data is to serve the following specific purpose: Marketing, sales, company membership roster management, contract, quasi-contract or other legal affairs, legal transaction of personal data, consumer, customer management and service, commercial and technical information, information(communication) service, information(communication) database management, information security and management, online shopping and other e-commerce services, assistive and logistics support management, advertising or commercial behavior management, video, music, and media management, investigation, statistics and research analysis, other business operation in accordance with the business registration project or organization prospectus, and other consulting and consultant services. Moreover, personal data collected by iDrip from you or others while engaging in business transactions, or services will apply.

  • Use duration, region, subject, and method
    • Duration: Except otherwise regulated b the law, the date on which you request to stop using the service or when iDrip ceases to provide the service.
    • Region: Your personal data will be used within the ROC region.
    • Use subject: iDrip, affiliates, contactors, logistics and other business partners, or public/private organizations that hold a contractual relationship with iDrip or engages in business transactions with the company, or legally authorized organizations.
    • Use method: Automated or other non-automated methods that are in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • According to Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you may exercise the following rights with regard to your personal data:
    • The right to make an inquiry of and to review your personal data.
    • The right to supplement or correct your personal data.
    • The right to demand the cessation of the collection, processing or use of your personal data
    • The right to erase your data.

  • You may choose whether to provide your personal data to iDrip or not, but you need to accept that by refusing to complete the registration procedure and become a member, or if the information you provide while using iDrip’s services is incomplete, you may not be able to enjoy the service fully or you may not be able to use the service at all. For instance, if you do not provide the shipping address, we cannot deliver your product. Also, iDrip will be unable to verify the authenticity of your identity, or if your data has been used for fraudulent purposes, or if the data is false. if your data is provided fraudulently or inaccurately, you will be held accountable for all civil and criminal liabilities.

Camera functions and camera roll usage

  • If you agree to use the camera, allow access to photos or videos, you can use certain functions on the iDrip website or app, such as profile photo upload, custom method sharing or coffee commenting...etc. Or upload photos to share with other users.
  • The use of your profile picture photo may be used in the iDrip website or App, and social functions that interact with others, such as coffee comments, custom methods, etc.; when you upload your profile picture photo, it means that On your behalf, you agree to and consent to these terms.
  • We will only obtain such permissions after your authorization and consent, and will never open sensitive permissions privately to steal your privacy and read your image content.
  • If you refuse to authorize some necessary permissions, you will not be able to use the corresponding functions, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions and services of the iDrip website or App.

Data sharing and disclosure

  • When you browse the Service’s web page, the Service will automatically receive and record data on your computer and browser including IP address, cookies, software/hardware attributes, and your browsing record; when you use iDrip’s app service, iDrip may receive and record the type and version of your mobile device, UDID/MEID, and geolocation information provided by your mobile device to determine your location and preferences (hereinafter referred to as relevant data.
  • After recording the relevant data, in order to provide you with better, personalized service, the Service will send you service announcement, marketing, advertising, and management-related information.
  • To improve your user experience and the overall quality of the Service, the Service may introduce marketing messages such as new categories on the marketing preference setup page from time to time. The users may choose not to receive such marketing messages about new categories by following the instructions in the message or demonstration to unsubscribe from these messages, but you may not be able to use the service website or the app’s full functions as a result.
  • The Service’s advertiser (including ad serving company) may assume that the people browsing, clicking on the advertisement, or interacting with the advertisement conform to the marketing standards. Once browsing or interacting with the advertisement, you are deemed to agree with the advertiser’s assumption that you conform to the marketing standards of the advertisement.
  • When providing personal data to iDrip’s affiliates or other trustworthy companies or personnel, we will demand that they abide by iDrip’s instructions, the Policy, and other appropriate privacy and security measures while processing such information.
  • To achieve the following objectives, when the accessing, using, storing, or disclosing of personal data is deemed necessary, iDrip will share your personal data with other companies, organizations, or individuals:

    • In compliance with the appropriate laws, regulations, legal procedures, or government executive orders.
    • Matters applicable to the terms of service including investigating potential violations.
    • Detect, prevent, or resolve fraud, security, or technical problems via other means.
    • Protect iDrip, users, and the publics’ rights, properties, or safety within the boundaries of the law to protect them from harm.

Cookie

  • The Service will set up and access cookies.
  • The Service will allow other companies that have placed advertisements on the Service’s web page to set up and access cookies on your computer. Other companies will use the cookies according to their privacy policies and not according to the Policy. When the advertiser or other company cannot access the Service’s cookies,
  • the Service will use web beacons to access cookies inside/outside of our website as well as product and service-related cookies.

UDID/MEID

  • iDrip will setup and access iDrip’s UDID/MEID.
  • iDrip uses your UDID/MEID in a bid to provide you with a personalized experience as well as quick, accurate customer service. It is not used for identifying the user.
  • Based on iOS/android’s UDID/MEID regulations for the developers, when you reset your UDID/MEID, we will not generate an identifiable association between your new and old UDID/MEID. At the same time, UDID/MEID-related records and data will also be lost.

Confidentiality and security

  • iDrip will provide your data to employees who are trusted by iDrip and who are deemed necessary for providing you with our products, services or to complete their job.
  • The Service server has various information security measures such as a firewall and anti-virus software for operating procedures and technical dimensions.
  • The Service has adopted physical, electronic, and procedural protection measures.

Revisions to the privacy policy

The Service reserves the right to revise the Policy. If major changes occur in processing personal data, the Service will notify you via the primary email address you have entered in the system or an announcement will be posted on the Service’s service website.

Dealing with copyright infringements

If you believe the Service or the Service website contains contents or information that are have infringed your copyright, please provide the following information:

  • The name, address, and telephone number or fax number or electronic mail address or description of other automatic communication of the rights holder or proxy thereof and the name of the copyrights or plate rights infringed.
  • A statement requesting the removal of, or disabling of access to, the content that allegedly infringes copyright or plate rights.
  • Access or relevant information sufficient to enable iDrip to identify the allegedly infringing content.
  • A statement that the rights holder is acting in good faith and in the belief that the allegedly infringing content lacks lawful licensing or is otherwise in violation of the Copyright Act.
  • A declaration that the rights holder is willing to bear legal liability in the event there is misrepresentation with resultant injury to another. The declaration should be signed or stamped and delivered to the Service’s customer service mailbox.

If you believe you are not guilty of copyright infringement, please provide the following information:

  • The name, address, and telephone number or fax number or electronic mail address of the user or proxy thereof.
  • A statement of the request to replace the content that has been removed or to restore access to the content. Relevant information sufficient to enable iDrip to identify the content.
  • A statement that the user is acting in good faith and in the belief that the user has a lawful right to exploit the content, and that the removal or disabling of access to the content is the result of misrepresentation or error on the part of the rights holders or proxy thereof.
  • A statement giving consent for iDrip to forward the contents of the counter-notification and the user's personal information to the rights holder or proxy thereof.
  • A declaration that the user is willing to bear legal liability in the event there is misrepresentation with resultant injury to another. The declaration should be signed or stamped and delivered to the Service’s customer service mailbox.

Principle for dealing with suspected copyright infringements

In respecting intellectual property rights, iDrip’s principle for dealing with alleged intellectual property rights infringements of contents or information in the Service or on the Service website are:

  • After receiving a written statement from the rights holder, iDrip will remove the contents that have been allegedly involved in copyright infringement as soon as possible, and the user will be notified of such infringement via the designated contact method or contact information left by the user. Depending on the circumstances, iDrip may provide the rights holder’s full name, email, or phone number to the user so that both parties may contact each other directly to resolve the dispute. If the infringement notice is incomplete, iDrip will notify the rights holder to provide the necessary information.
  • If the rights holder claims that the user’s contents are involved in copyright infringement and deleted by iDrip, they will not be recovered by iDrip. If the user infringes copyright thrice, iDrip will terminate all of or part of the user’s service.
  • If the user disagrees with the rights holder’s claims about copyright infringement, the user may prepare the necessary documents and ask iDrip to forward them to the rights holder as protest. If the user’s notice is incomplete, iDrip will notify the user to provide the necessary information. After receiving the aforementioned notification documents, iDrip will immediately forward them to the rights holder. If, within 10 business days since one day after the date of receiving counter notification from the user, the rights holder does not provide the user with evidence regarding filing civil or criminal litigation against the user, the user may reupload the content at will.
  • If the aforementioned rights holder or user’s notification is incomplete, iDrip may notify them to submit the necessary information via the email or fax they have provided.
  • The rights holder or user must submit the missing information within 5 days of receiving a notice from iDrip. If the missing information is not submitted in time or if the submitted information is still incomplete, the notice will be deemed to have not been submitted as per the Copyright Act.
  • Except agreed by the user or used for the purpose of rendering service, iDrip may provide the user’s identification data to a third party according to the law or as requested by the government. Consequently, if you file a report based on this principle, iDrip will remove the contents with copyright infringements as per your request, and we will not provide you with the user’s identification information. If you wish to obtain the user’s data, you should file a lawsuit with the district prosecutors office or the Criminal Investigation Bureau, and iDrip will provide the user’s details upon receiving the competent authority’s request letter.
